Loving his work so far. The highest praise I can give him is I get the same buzz when he's on the ball that I do when Silva has it.
He makes the game look easy, always looking two steps ahead. He can be the missing piece in our jigsaw and I expect him to help propel us to the next level.

They know they will look stupid if they start praising him after calling him a flop. That's why his opening 3 man of the match performances have been largely ignored. People don't like to admit when they're wrong.

Frankly most journos simply ignore their previous statements that contradict the factual evidence and just make opposite statements with absolutely no hint of guilt.
Some (maybe including RS) have been known to make contradictory statements in the same article based on the chance to take a statement 'out of context' and allow them to claim that they predicted whatever event they are writing about.

Plenty of time for RS to declare how bright the future is for KDB then all possibilities are covered.

Don't remember him at all at Chelsea but from what I've seen upto now he looks very impressive indeed, they can call him a flop all day long if they want but the facts and certainly the stats after Chelsea stand up to the usual journo headline grabbing nonsense. Can't recall him wasting a single ball , that coupled with a certain eye for goal bodes well for us

The greatest thing about KDB is that he never stands still and admires his pass, he is already looking to get back on the ball as quickly as possible.

I know you have long stated he reminded you of Gerrard, and I do see some similarities, in terms of always trying to play on the front foot.

For me, though, he actually reminds me of hybrid Xavi and Iniesta.

He's got such a wonderfully-rounded game and his brain, like Silva's, sees the instant picture around him.

He reminds me of a young Zidane.

Which of the three Kevin De Bruynes that I saw roaming all over the pitch last night are we talking about here

When we were signing KDB a German fan said he was a 70 min player, runs out of steam. Much as I have loved KDBs performances I think this may be the case. He has not been as dominant towards the end of his two matches. Replace with Nasari for twenty minutes is not a bad option! ;-)
No certainly not. Look at the game against USA in the WC. A very high pace game that went into extra time, and KDB was the one that was still running up and down the pitch in extra time which resulted in him scoring and assisting a second. Another example would be the supercup against Bayern a couple of months ago. In the last minute he is there to asssist Bendtner.

He can have parts in a game where he "dissapears" a bit, but he is always there at crunch time.

Yesterday he may have looked tired towards the end, but to be fair near the end he was still making huge sprints, that then didn't get rewarded. So he got a bit frustrated near the end and since the were 4-0 up, I think it was just a case of saving energy for the game against tottenham.
