Do think that him and Kompany could form an imperious partnership at the back.

Demi and Otamendi, both argies. They have that natural understanding as we all saw against West Ham. I won't mind seeing this partnership for the league cup

Kompany and Mangala, this partnership should evolve further. Mangala is more Belgian than French, so Vinny has to take him under his wing and make sure the kid learns from his mistakes

Thats a little to harsh, savic never settled and cant remember him having a good game in city colors where as he had been excellent till juve game and was much better than kompany last season if not at par

Agreed - it was harsh - I'd had a couple! Just wish we'd seen more of the Mangala we saw on his debut against Chelsea.
Otamendi is The Man though.

Strangely against teams who we will dominate, Demichelis and Otamendi seem the best 2. The ball just comes out of the back better with those 2. They are both better ball playing CD out of the back. Against teams who are superior, Komps and Mangala have the speed and athletism to stay with superior strikers, albeit Otamendi is probably just as good barring the speed.

Against teams of equal quality, I'd go with Komp and Otamendi.


Or better yet whoever is in form :) We have a solid 4 for the cb position
