Looks a bit random to me - early days

He does go through players from behind

Must now play ahead of Mangala for me....excellent performance yesterday. Also just seen Mangala's defending again against Moses for their first goal....very very poor.

It was Kolorov's fault he didn't track the run and Mangala was stuck between going with someone who had a run on him and moving out to Moses.

Very impressed with Ottamondi yesterday. Like Debruyne and Sterling, another excellent signing.

Thought he looked far more comfortable alongside Martin Demichelis who gave us more composure. For me with Kompany out we have to go with MD & NO - big step back from Kolarov who has been excellent but yesterday was back to his backing off and not closing down space style of defending. Hope he improves quickly because if he plays like yesterday it puts too much pressure on the centre backs to cover and get out of position. Also when Kolarov plays poorly Sterling looks half the player.

What game are you watching?
If Mangala played with the passion and blocked it like Reid the the goal would not of happened.

He was awesome.

His sharp passing into midfield was a real surprise.

Won almost every header and that forward facing tackle in the first half was world class.

I felt Otamendi was our best defender yesterday....I even felt he covered up for a few mistakes for Mangala! Great siging...Mangala still making mental errors that are costing us.....standing off his man and allowing him time to shot for that first goal was terrible defending...We looked more solid when Demichelis came on in the 2nd half....hopefully just a one off poor day by Mangala.....Otamendi looked sharp and able to make himself time on the ball and make a pass.....like what I see so far!;)

Needs to watch his tackling from behind, even though they were ball winning, safe tackles, they go punished everyti even against us. Unsure of his passing, some passes looked great whereas others were smashed into players feet resulting in losing possession. Great leap on him and a composed second half. 6.5/10 for me, we conceded two shite goals and he was part of that unit. Could be promising though.
