Hate to say it but him vs. Bolasie this weekend has got red card written all over it.
I agree, I'd go for Maffeo. Palace have so many quick tricky players that you can't be throwing yourself into tackles.

I wouldn't. Maffeo would be an even more disastrous a selection as he's just a young kid. Away at Palace isn't where you throw a kid in because if it doesn't go well, which it has the potential to up against someone like Bolasie, you risk ruining his confidence far too early in his PL career.
Imo he has another problem too, in that if you were to show the only decent highlight of last night's match, it's when he won two tackles in succession, but as on quite a few fanboy vids, the second tackle was technically two footed in a kind of stamping motion. Not dangerous at all & gets the ball cleanly, but do that to Rooney or Diego Costa, & you are likely to end up with a red card as they chuck themselves over.
Not sure he will get away with it at all & it's one of his favourite tackles.
Yep, I clocked that, particularly in one of his games vs Barca. He does that in a big game and he's gone, I don't think you could complain too much either as even if he's not endangering a player as soon as you take both feet off the ground the refs looking to punish you.
Totally Agree..As if Pellers will play Maffeo at the weekend when he already has options...Wouldn't surprise me if Mangala was pushed out wide and Nik comes into the central role
Elaquim certainly has the pace for the RB position
A left footed centre back at right full? Genius!
