I think youre finding out what we were telling you when you bought him but were dismissed for being bitter.

Sterling obviously has potential but he is lacking a lot and nowhere near a finished article which makes the £50 million seem crazy.

His problems we mentioned are the same as what you fans are also now saying - final ball, crossing, finishing, shooting. He looks good on the ball, he dribbles around, but the end product is suspect.

The example that is often used was his performance for England vs Italy in the world cup, he looks dangerous on the ball, but didnt actually do anything in the game, if that makes sense.

If all that happened was that you put a bid in, in the summer, and he left, then that would be end of that. Wed still be unhappy but deal done. But he was deemed an ungrateful little shit long before that moment because we trained him up, progressed him through the ranks, gave him his chance, got him his England call up, even gave him a break mid season to holiday in Jamaica to accommodate him, and then offered him a bumper deal all at age 19, and yet he was already making signs of being the "big I am" and wanting to move on, long before you put your bid in, even though hes nowhere even near the finished article as has been mentioned.

Theres a difference between waiting for a club to come in for you, and touting yourself in the shop window when youre aged 19. Hes no Suarez or Torres, who might have at least had the gravitas to be in that position, hes just a youngster, just starting out, still got his "L" plates on but was acting like hes on Suarez's level.
