You should pay more attention then.

Sorry. He's the next Messi right enough. The way he beats his man time after time, the majestic teasing crosses he puts into the box, the constant threat in front of goal and first class passing and decision making. Should have paid a few hundred million for his services, what a bargain!

Jees.

He's not the next Messi, far from it. There's no 'next Messi' out there. The price is just a stick for people who aren't happy with him to beat him with. Personally I couldn't care less how much we paid, the facts are that after 4 months with us he's been excellent on occasion and poor on others. I'd rather look at his better games and take solace that he's got it in him to perform at the top level rather than dig him out for misplaced passes, decision making and finishing - all stuff that can be coached into him given time.

he was shite saturday, utter bollocks.. Backing off 50 / 50 balls.. Lately he only looks good when running on to a ball with no defenders round him, If he has a player near him when he gets the ball, that marks the end of that move for us !!

A waste of our money in my opinion. He needs space behind a defence to run into, teams have got wise to that and squeeze him out. Defensively, he's shocking.

He's poor for £50 million let's get over it , I'm not talking potential or what he might be I'm talking what he is and what we paid for him , when you pay £50 mil it should be for quality not potential
