Not certain under the circumstances who else we could have omitted from the list with those twats from UEFA giving us an embargo on the number of players we could register.Kelechi would have buried that chance, so so stupid not having him in the CL squad.
That's down to confidence, and it's people like you lot that's not helping Sterling.hes just not very good. He doesnt even attmept to beat a man now which was the one thing he could do.

How many sitters has Aguero missed... It doesn't make him useless does it. It happens! Yes it was a bad miss but you shouldn't get on his back for one missed chance. You will all benefit from a confident Sterling.sorry, didnt realize it was my fault. I wont make him miss next time.

He is clearly lacking in confidence - this is a concern because at the level we want to be at he has to be mentally strong enough to handle the pressure.
Stuck this in wrong thread, thought I was in here:
Sterling has already had seasons in the Prem. The thing that gets me though is that some of our fans can't see a work in progress - especially when he cost a lot of money
His finishing is a weakness but as somebody else mentioned, he could have legit had 20 goals by now if he was good at it. He's a young lad, 3 years younger than the Lingard rag who everybody is saying needs time to develop.
If a 20 year old is missing 20 goals in 3 months then I think some people should think about how talented he has to be to get into those positions that often, and how big a player he'll be for us after a few years working on his weaknesses with our coaches. He reminds me not on talent but on attitude of Ronaldo when he was at United. He was seen as a diving waster who was never going to be good enough and kept either skying it over or jumping on the ground. He turned out alright. Sterling is spectacularly young, we have players in our youth team who are older than him.

I think Sterling should start every game and play every minutes to gain his confidence back.
