well we all new we'd paid twice as much as he was worth

now it looks like we were wrong and our own half priced valuation was also way over the top

not a surprise and it just confirms that he was not even remotely what we actually needed at the time and the gaps remaining are still painfully self evident

at this stage he'd be a good squad player a la Di Maria/Ozil at Real.

Unfortunately he's thrust in as a first team star and I don't think he's taken it on as we hoped.

Hope it will click for him sooner rather than later, I'd love him to have to compete with a truly world class player in that position from next season.

Think it's just a bit much for him at the moment, but he's a career investment.

I think injuries have played apart in this as looked far better with a fully fit Silva.

Should really take him out of the limelight (ankle injury?) bar the fact we need players.

In the close season when United got linked with Mane, I remember feeling so confident that we had Sterling who was a class above, how much did I misjudge it.

Hope the move is not a mistake as he has handled himself well and seems to work hard.

Needs a rest in my opinion

Until he's 30 wtf....

Far from a concern for us at the minute giving that in 21 games he's scored 7 and assisted 5 at 20 years old, the way our team looks recently we need to address the defending and central midfield first, I don't even think we have a first team defensive coach!

We have a real ball retention problem with him and de Bruyne. Both lose the ball a lot. I can see de Bruyne is gifted. Not so with Sterling.

Name a 20yr old winger that has done more in the last two years.
