He has no price tag to justify. Our club has to do that seeing as we're the ones that deemed him to be worthy of it.

His wage is the only thing he has to justify. Regardless of missed chances, he works fucking hard even when he's not performing at his best. So I can't complain about that.

I'm going to make a bold claim:

Sterling will score more goals for City this season than Silva, Nasri, Navas and Milner ever have in a single season for us.

He will do this at the ages of just 20/21 and in his very first season for the club.

Didn't Silva get 9 last year? I can't see Sterling getting into double figures tbh, but fingers crossed that he does. Not that I am that bothered - I think he's doing a great job as it is. He creates space for other players and if Kun can stay fit and Bony can remember where the goal is, we'll be just fine.

EDIT: Silva got 12.

Realistically he will either stay at City for the next 10 years or be sold on for a fee not dissimilar to what we've paid.

That means his fee will either be £4.9m a year or recouped.

No matter how badly he plays over that time, that will still be less a year than Santa Cruz,Jo and Robinho.

Stop moaning :)

One of the few Liverpool fans who actually hopes he does well.

He was my favourite player at Liverpool.
Great prospect, should learn a lot surrounded by great players such as Silva, Aguero etc.
YNWA STERLING!

I would say 'THE' only ....

I hope he does well too, he certainly has the players about him to make the step up possible......

Can you let us know when Ibe is ready to move 'up' ;)

Good point , of course they do.

I am not dissing the boy by any means its just I am a big believer in life that the old adage "you never get a second chance to make a good first impression" also rings true on the football pitch and his impressive start would have been spectacular had he netted one of those on Tuesday night. Buffon is one of the best keepers ever to play the game and he stood up really well but at that level taking those type chances is what sorts the men out from the boys.

Got a good feeling about Raheem for Saturday night.

Fully agree with the adage but in my book, he has made a very good first impression.
