The comments from Ward are just being twisted. He says that Raheem is buzzing at city and that's all that matters.
With regards to his performance on Saturday, I can understand people having reservations about his overall play as there were still a few situations where he could've done a lot better and even added a couple of goals/assists to his tally.
However, looking at the fact that he scored three, one of them a worldy, it's obvious that his potential is unbelievable. The key reasons for me that will see him become a world class player are his work rate, attitude and intelligence. These are three aspects that are impossible to coach into someone and at 20 he is showing them in abundance - his movement off the ball against Bournemouth was brilliant.
Add these to his athleticism (pace, strength, balance), touch, etc, and you have a prospect that can do almost anything. Once he improves his deficiencies, which are all completely possible to change, he'll take some stopping.
If he can avoid injury problems we'll have a player that will create/score around 30 a season.
