Re: Sergio Aguero

When we signed the likes of Aguero and Silva, and weren't yet champions, I thought how amazing it will be to watch these players for the next 3 years or so before we lose them to huge Spanish offers. Now here they are committing themselves to City until into their 30's! Amazing :)

Re: Sergio Aguero

Some pundit wrote that the best signing we could make would be a physio to keep Aguero fit and i agree with that.If he had kept fit last season we would have had the league sewn up a lot earlier.

Jojo and Dzeko both look on fire in the friendlies.

I'd stick with them for a while and ease Kun back in very slowly.

I hate to think what would have been done to him to get him on the pitch for the Semi & final in Brazil.

Wouldn't be a PMS post without putting Dzeko down.

I have it on good authority that PMS really likes Dzeko and thinks he's a good player. His post is probably just suggesting that there's a resemblance between Edin and Marky Mark, which I can sorta see (I think it's the brow ridge).

I'm not sure about that. I agree we need him fit, he's probably our best player, but we scored a serious amount of goals last year. If you sit down and and have a look at it, when he was missing his goals came from somewhere else. I think the reason for us not sewing it up earlier was the away form at the start of the season. Buying into a new system/manager is what gave everyone else a chance. Now that sounds arrogant, but..............

We will not have that issue this year. I'm hoping aguero stays fit. I'm looking at jovetic and thinking if we keep him fit this lad will be the bollocks. Then I look at the business we have done this summer and despite what the media say, we have strengthened in a big big way.

Which is why I have backed us this time, to retain our title. It is going to take some terrible luck/huge season from another team to stop us in full flow.

If aguero stays injury free for the whole season,I could see him breaking the goal scoring record of Clive Allen's thinks its 47..

Not sure he'll get 47 in a 20 team league, but if he stays injury free, he's got every chance of getting 30 league goals which would still be a phenomenal achievement.

If he stays fit for the whole season I think he'll be that good that he'll make the shortlist for the Balon D'or.

He was carrying some timber at training yesterday....looked like his Father-in-law !!

Haha ye in the picture put up on the official twitter when his new deal was announced he had a bit of a second chin going on. Nothing a few weeks of training won't get rid of though.
