Norwich, Sunderland and Stoke should be routine if we turn up

If Fernando deal goes through it'll be one up front (Negredo) and extra man in midfield with Fernandihno, Fernando plus Yaya with more of a free role and I think we'll spank Barca ...

In Chelski games we then have the option of playing an extra midfielder or two up front. Dzeko/Negredo or Jovetoic can play as a second striker, either way I see us still doing well - of course would have been better to have Kun of course.... But if we can get through this month without him, the season is starting looking amazing especially with Nasri to come back as well !!!!!

Sorry to disappoint but Fernando and Mangala would both be cup tied for the CL if they do sign.

Oh yes forgot about that still great option for giving Yaya and Fernandihno rest in PL games

I just think its our intensity in games that we keep picking up injuries..

Absolutely.

And the fact Aguero played all 90 minutes against Watford.

We need to be careful from here on in as another injury or two and our quality of play will seriously suffer.

Obviously wed do much better with him but I think we are well covered in the striker department. Now If Kompany was out I'd be more worried, our defence seems to fall apart without him. Dzeko and negredo will do us well (not getting involved in the 2 upfront debate) and Sergio will be a big unknown for barcas defence in the Second leg :)

I am absolutely gutted about Sergio being out, I think we can get by in the league without him but in a knockout tie against one of the elite teams in the world and one of the favourites to win the European Cup, that is when I think we will come away from the game and say we missed Sergio.

Sergio for me offers those runs behind the defence that our other strikers don't offer, this is what Silva thrives of and it's what causes defences all sorts of issues, his ability inside the box is up there with the best as well.

I recall against Liverpool when just Negredo played, I know we won but that game was crying out for one of our strikers to make runs behind their defence but nobody seemed to do it.

I just hop Negredo and Jovetic can do a good job against Barca at home - Negredo and Dzeko would leave our midfield far too exposed - and hopefully we can still be in the game come the second leg when Sergio should be back.
