Norwich, Sunderland and Stoke should be routine if we turn up

If Fernando deal goes through it'll be one up front (Negredo) and extra man in midfield with Fernandihno, Fernando plus Yaya with more of a free role and I think we'll spank Barca ...

In Chelski games we then have the option of playing an extra midfielder or two up front. Dzeko/Negredo or Jovetoic can play as a second striker, either way I see us still doing well - of course would have been better to have Kun of course.... But if we can get through this month without him, the season is starting looking amazing especially with Nasri to come back as well !!!!!

Sorry to disappoint but Fernando and Mangala would both be cup tied for the CL if they do sign.

I would be very surprised if he starts one up against Chelsea. We tried that in the away game against them and in hindsight we should have stuck with two up.

Barca is different altogether as the main thing is to still be in the game after the first leg. I would push Yaya up in behind Negredo as he will be almost redundant trying to get the ball back off Xaxi Busquets and Iniesta.

All the other league games speak for themself. We will be fine and I expect that we will have an even bigger lead at the top going into March.

I'm a bit concerned with how thinly spread our striking options are looking at sergio's re-injury and the beast's recent injury scare i feel we could do with a striker as back up in addition to a good centre back it's time for Jovetic to step upto the plate but he's a fitness fragility too losing another attacker could seriously de-rail our plans.

Listen folks don't get carried away with this two up front, were you at the Bayern game at Etihad? We were totally dominated for most of the game. Where has sticking to principles got Wenger in the last 8 years. Sometimes you need to be flexible and surprise the opposition.

We were unlucky away to Chelski with one up front, were the better team buy for a distare from Hart would have been a draw the very least we deserved.

One up front worked for us away to Bayern.

We can't just say two up front and we'll steamroller all teams. A lot of the toughest games of the season are to come and as lovely the journey has been so far we've WON nothing yet so lets not carried away or arrogant and think we can play two up front in any game against any team!!

No we haven't steam rollered many teams really have we!!!!
Yes I was at Bayern,they battered us because we were light in midfield. I am sure MP has learnt from that. Chill the fook out. We will be fine my friend. Samir is coming back aswell

Yes I was at the Bayern game. My point is that it shouldn't matter whether we play one up or two up we should still be comfortably beating the teams that Sergio will miss (Barca and Chelsea aside).

Correct we haven't won anything yet but we haven't lost in a long time so why would we change our tactics now? Like I said above I would adapt for Barca but no one else.

Aguero is an amazing player, but guys we have three more strikers!! Not only that we have one of the best teams in the world, this is a 11 man game! We can't think that we will be paralyzed without one great player. Common now... MP will keep his 4-4-2 formation because I don't remember him playing any other way and if we do sign the new defender it will only be a boost to our defense. Milner, Navas, Kolarov and Silva need to start all games and then in the front Negredo and Dzeko start with Jove as a 60 min sub. For the goalie I would actually start with Pant. next few games, because to me Joe i still letting some easy balls into the net. To me he seems a little cocky sometimes and that is just my take on it, I might be wrong... Pant. is humble, full of energy, and is really trying to prove himself to MP. So after all that I say Aguero is a great player, but one player does not make a team! Nevertheless I hope he is back asap!
