Re: Sergio Aguero

Zabaleta came back quickly when it was thought he would be out for up to a month.

Bet he's back for Barca ......

Fingers crossed lad! - fingers crossed.. We could really do with his cutting edge and that bit of sparkle that the little hero gives us.. I also believe that if he does play it gives barca head ache instantly due to his reputation and the simple fear factor, i think when a team concentrates on keeping someone like sergio under control it then creates space and time for others which can then be exploited

That's all that matters.

I'm not really concerned about Chelsea, we can do them without him but Barca, wow, he'd run riots over that attempt of defender Pique.

I will be extremely, extremely, extremely (infinitely) shocked if a slight precautionary twinge (not even a tear) causes him to miss his biggest match of the season.

I'll even go as far as to say it's guaranteed he'll be on the pitch if he doesn't have any setbacks in recovery.

Re: Sergio Aguero

The problem, like with Fernandinho, is that just being back for Barca isn't really enough. We could do with them being back for the game before that at the latest. Everyone will have to be sharp as a tack to get past them.

Yep, he was on for all of 20 seconds the last time and scored

Players of that ilk, even half fit, are better than a fully fit Garcia and Edin.....

-- Wed Feb 05, 2014 7:07 pm --

Oh of course, don't get me wrong, I'd rather take a half fit Fernandinho over a fully fit Garcia too, but against Barca we will have pretty much zero room for error. Any chinks in the armour will be tested, and going out with two players who could crock themselves inside 10 minutes against one of the best teams in the world isn't my idea of a game plan. It would be great if they could get 45 solid minutes each some point before then.

-- Wed Feb 05, 2014 6:27 pm --
