I hope they don't rush him back and are 100% he wont breakdown,id rather wait and have Sergio straining at the leash, than Sergio struggling, its such a shame he got injured v spurs because that first 20/30 minutes he looked unplayable

One of the best performances I have ever seen by a footballer, for City or anyone else - he was on fire in that opening spell. He was unplayable. I am sure he will come back chomping at the bit and I think he has his eye on our all time record goal record for a season!

Yup he just gets better and better. I pray he comes back and stays fit for the rest of the season.

Chelsea game would of been so different with him and Fernan in the team

I would of thought so,having two big uns against Chelsea didn't give us an advantage were as having Sergio round their ankles would of imo,as well as fernas pace in the middle.

The same source that told me that Ferny was going to be out for the Chelsea game. Exact words "Aguero might be fit for Barcelona - fingers crossed". We can't obviously legislate for him having a setback but that's the feeling at the moment. Here's hoping...

Thanks, I'll obviously have to hunt you down if you're wrong though.

Well, like the Fernandinho post, which nearly got me lynched early Monday morning (to the point where I was conflicted between praying he'd be playing somehow - in spite of the fact I knew he definitely had an injury - and waiting for it to be proved true), I can only tell you that this is factual as of today :-)

I owe you an apology mate as I doubted you - only because I couldn't believe it hadn't leaked out (as the players at trained at the stadium). So I'm glad on this occasion you're bringing me good news :-)

I would rather Aguero had both legs functioning for Barca ;)

Agreed he was on fire that night. One of Aguero's streangths and weaknesses is that it takes him no time at all to settle back into his game after injury and the temptation is to give him game time - I wonder if Pellegrini will do things different this time.

Yep, I'll look out for your posts in the future, great accurate information!

Re: Sergio Aguero

Pellegrini has ruled him out of the Barca game - again hope this is just a bluff on his behalf.

I am fine with that.

I believe , as I always have, we must win in the Camp Nou to go through and that is then we need to be at our best.
