Re: Sergio Aguero

Does anyone feel like Aguero is finally becoming one of the biggest names in football? I mean obviously people have known he's good for some time now, but he seems like he's becoming a household name, internationally, recently. finally getting the respect and praise he deserves!

Re: Sergio Aguero

I know it's goal.com however after googling aguero related terms such as "would Aguero marry me? " i saw this link...
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2014/12/04/6748462/whirlwind-aguero-ready-to-rival-messi-and-ronaldo?ICID=HP_HN_1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/pre ... ID=HP_HN_1</a>

The bit we will be interested in is the following...

"Aguero, for his part, has declared that City will be the last club he plays for in Europe before returning to Argentina to end his career"

When did he say this?, i know he said about defo not leaving before we win the cl but this is new to me.

Re: Sergio Aguero

When Silva comes back, I honestly think there is the possibility of the first double hat trick in a Premier League game.

Re: Sergio Aguero

He's priceless.

He's our poster boy and a statement of our intention to continue our quest to be the very best.

Selling Aguero would go against everything we have built. And its beyond exciting knowing that he is seemingly still improving :-)))

Far too good for us. Now I know how you lot felt with Bale. How did you cope when Madrid took him? Emotionally, of course. Got a feeling I might need to know soon.

A bad case of icklecityitus. Wash your fucking mouth out and get some help with your mental health.

SWP29 must be a WUM.

Talkshite now saying that Kun is better (from a neutral's perspective) than Henri, Van Nistlehorse, Suarez, Shearer et al

Good times

Well he's not a ****, he doesn't bite people, he's not a rag and he's not French. Has a lot going for him for the neutral to be honest.

I can assure you that in Spain Aguero was considered one of the "Big 3 stars" of La Liga, alongside Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He was in the same package. I think he made a lot of epic games there, really epic. I remember a Bacelona 4-1, he scored 2 (the last one is just....incredible). That day was put in other level with messi. He's one of the few players i've seen were preferred by Madrid and Barça fans. Both team supporters wanted him for his team.

I remember Atletico Madrid was just Aguero and Forlan. And during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Atletico was playing for getting into the UCL, against Schalke 04. It was a knock-out stage. In the first match Aguero couldn't play because he was at the Olympics (ATM lost 1-0). As soon as Argentina won the gold medal, Aguero took a fly to Madrid to play. They won 4-0. Aguero made the first, won the ball for the second one, gave the assistance in the third goal, and gave the pass to Simao until he suffered a Penalty

It was 10 years (!!!!) since Atletico Madrid played their last champions league game. They were so happy (even the commentators were almost crying lol) I remember Aguero was just amazing that day...being just a kid.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Cheers Colin, that is the best thing he could have said imo, as in we could not ask much more from him. Made my whole year that has.

Hi Jnico17, thanks for the info and link :-)
