At least in NFL they diagnose a knee ligament tear quickly, within hours it's revealed. Hopefully it's just a severe sprain.

hoping the same. i though get him back for xmas and i'll be happy.

Its probably the best we can expect.

You always hope its just a jarred knee but some damage to the ligaments would seem likely.

I hope its no worse than Silva's injury and obviously hope the scans reveal less damage than that.

i'm still sure we'll win too, i just wish kun was travelling.

I'm not sure we will win, but to effectively try and blame the management for playing Sergio today is laughable.

Can we have your opinion prior to each game in future about when Kun should play, rather than after the event.

i am always in work till close to the ko but i said to my mates i'd bench him for this. i knew everton were going to hurt him. it is vital we get through on wednesday. we could go for players not yet cup tied in january with the offer of CL football. kun himself has now lost an oppotunity to get a few goals against the weaker sides coming up. at sunderlsnd i said during the games that we needed to keep kun fit as close to the end of december as possible so that if the enevitable injury comes we can strengthen in jan.

i hope this answer your point about my feelings towards team selction with your smary comment.

But Everton didn't hurt him? It was just another freak happenstance, aguero was always going to start yesterday and no can blame pelle for that.

Re: Sergio Aguero

MP confirming it's ligaments means it's going to be either 6 weeks or 6 months. Fingers crossed, it settles down and he's back very soon.
The truth of the matter is Aguero's tears told a story!

Not much of a story, "My leg hurts and I am upset".

He's not a doctor and presumably would have no idea how bad his injury is.

Re: Sergio Aguero

If it's 5 weeks - a cup final vs Roma - we can win our December fixtures - gives him a rest and get his lad over for Christmas. Chin up Sergio.

You're a glass half empty kind of guy I see

Re: Sergio Aguero

He walked off the pitch, that tells me it's not the acl that's gone, I'd say he's torn the medial ligament and that's about 4 to 6 weeks recovery, I did mine about 2 years ago and it felt like my knee exploded, shit me up n made me a bit teary...... Keeping positive about kun though, like I said the fact he didn't need a stretcher tells you something.
