Looks like he has been axed from CL squad but PL squad too?
Will he disappear like Nastasic under Pelle?
Probably not a player that suits our system (could have really think about signing him then) but that goes for lot of players in the squad, Pelle system hardly getting the best out of like defenders some midfielders etc.

His omission is probably a punishment for speaking out after being dropped from the CL squad. But the bit parts he played before his omissiin were totally baffling too as he gave us a spark of something different when he played. He talks a good game but the flatters to deceive because he never produces it on the field when he plays. In my opinion he does not fit in with the style we play, when he has played he looks like he is trying over elaborate flicks and passes.
Sometimes a signing just does not work out, for me Jovetic is one of them. I say sell him and bring in someone who can actually cement a place in the first team or push Silva 100% for place in the team.

Imagine we sell him for £7m too. Just imagine. Worst thing is its not totally inconceivable with Txiki in charge. His value is dropping like a stone every week, we should have sold him in January if they decided not to play him.
His value didn't seem to fall when he spent the entire year injured, or when he was pretty crap when he finally did play, so I can't imagine not playing will lower his value any more than the first 18 months at the club did. Italian clubs seem to fancy him, so we should be able to to flog him for a decent price in the summer. Shame it hasn't worked out, but he's only ever looked good enough in preseason.
