Soft as shit.

Talented and may show some real class at stages in his career, however, not what we need.

He could pull a hammy boiling the kettle.

Nasty and Jo Jo to Inter in Jan, free up £25 - £30 to buy a forward who can actually participate in games of football.

Inter couldn't afford either of them mate.

Plus, why would they want Jovetic when they could have Aguero for the same price since they're basically the same player :)

Some injury crisis in striking positions. Luckily some easy games on paper in front of us, otherwise...

Only easy if you have someone to score goals. We need a rethink this week and maybe try something different because we have created very few clear chances in the last two games despite winning them. I would take 4 1-0's now. This 4 game run could make or break our season.

Unlikely and unsuited as they may be, I'd be looking at Toure or even Mangala, who I believe started out as a striker, to play there. Pozo, and I don't mean this disrespectfully, is a small, one paced, lightweight, who offers very little at this level at the moment.

That could have been funny in the right hands ;.)

Don't let Dobby bcome a bad influence on you.

Re: Jovetic

Pelle has been reported as saying both Kompany and Dzeko might not play again this year...(so could be out for 3-4 weeks) but haven't read anything about Jovetic being injured....with Dzeko and Aguero both out we in big trouble depth-wise.......Is Jovetic injured as well??

Re: Jovetic

Far too injury prone. Aguero gets away with his injury record because he is a truly world class player when fit. The same can't be said for Jovetic.

Aye, you're probably right.

Regardless we need to do some dealing in Jan as the fears many of us raised when the Beast was sold are now starting to be realised.

Our pool of three forwards are not resilient enough for us to rely on them. We need to go out in Jan and spend some serious money on a high class striker.

We will win nothing if we don't.

That may sound negative and is perhaps a big call to make but I stand by it.

Not negative at all. Many were concerned that going down to 3 strikers, given the injury concerns around Jovetic & Kun was a recipe for disaster.

We need to recruit in Jan but I can't see where we raise the extra money required via outgoings to supplement the £10 mil or so we have left from our FFP 'budget', to be able to bring in the right quality.
