I'd match up with barca in the 4-3-3 I've always wanted to see silva and nasri to play in a midfield 3 with a minder.

I'd be careful putting only Fernando as the defensive shield. I think we will need to play 2 CDMs for sure.

i woudnt put that team versus arsenal let alone barca.

No wonder he wears daft pants - You'd never find regular trousers for those tree trunks!

If you look at this deal in isolation against Negredo, it seems like we've came out well on top. Swapped out an older player who didn't want to be here for a younger player who does. If he can get us back up to the early season Negredo/Aguero level I'll stop worrying about the defence because it's not going to matter a jot.

Have to say, I am excited to have a bit more of a bully up top. Our record regarding ingenuity speaks for itself, but there's something quite primal about seeing you guy batter the other guy to a goal.
