Actually Bartheloner did better than OK. Some bloke called Messy plays for them and he looked like a proper player to me. He dribbles a lot and just kinda dances with the ball and stuff. He looked good to me. Keep an ear out for him. Messy. ..and tell people who you first heard him off.

To be fair, there's nothing wrong - or 'rediculous' (good one that, I'll use it myself) - with coming on here and expressing an opinion based of what's been seen in two games, or even 1 game, as a sub - be it good, bad or indifferent. I'm certainly not writing him off, I wanted us to get him, and were pleased we did because based on his PL form I think he'll be a real asset. However, he hasn't looked that impressive in his first 2 appearances, so I can see why some fans are a bit underwhelmed.
I'm sure he'll come good.

Why did we buy Bony if not to play him against Barcelona, and in the Premiership matches.
Now it's almost March and he has yet to start a game for us.
Maybe just a coincidence that we had our worst run of results in 4 years after this signing and I am wondering how much is coincidence and how much cause and effect. I can't imagine it did much for the morale of Jovetic and Dzeko who were key players whilst Aguero was recovering from injury.
We knew the fixture list and the timing of the BArcelona game. Perhaps this is a signing that should have been done in the Summer.
