Decent enough player but doesn't seem to be the sort of player we need in that position, weird buy tbh.
And sometimes he even looks interested in the game.
Dzeko scored the goal that kept us in the cup we won, the equaliser in the title decider we won and then the next time we won a title and our major striker was injured he scored something like 8 in 10 to push us on to the title (really not sure about the stats).Means fuck all when you play shite and hardly score tho right? All I hear about dzeko is he looks disinterested he has a bad touch blah blah blah yet he still scored goals and he arguably won us the title 2 seasons ago
And me too.
I know you have all missed me and my thoughtful insight on the £25M donkey.
Thought I would give it a few days after what can only be described as another shambolic performance against Sevilla which I think was widely agreed on this thread. That is apart from those that will not admit that they may have been wrong over Bony.
Now moving onto yesterday I thought for patches in the first half he was doing okay. Not great just okay. What was letting him down and still does is his lack of mobility. When he plays a good pass/lay off he doesn’t move quick enough to receive the ball back and because he is playing so deep we are playing without a striker.
As for his performance in the second half if that hasn’t sealed his fate with some of you on here then you really do have bling faith. He was a disgrace to even be allowed to wear our shirt.
He has his chance now and failed appallingly he should be dropped right down the pecking order and Kelechi should be the first choice. There is no excuse for the abysmal displays we have had to witness he needs to work harder but doesn’t seem to have it in him. Just a lazy player.
There are no more excuses you can push to defend him any more we are better off having Harvey Price play up front.
Can't believe he has been written off by so many here.
He was hampered by injury last season and contracted malaria in the summer. That's a pretty seriously debilitating condition.
The guy has not been blessed with good health and we have yet to see the best of him.
I think there have been some encouraging signs in the last few games for him.
He is very strong with his back to goal and some if his ball control and one touch lay offs are superb.
This guy is far from being a donkey. He just needs more time.
