Missing the point. In that 6 month period, Negredo was a brilliant big man. Compare that to Bony now and you see how far away from that he is.
But Bony is currently better than the Negredo of the 2nd half of the season. Who's to say Bony's second half of this season won't be better than Negredo's first half?

Bony can also have a 6 month period of being a brilliant big man if you give him time and get off his back. It's like some city fans feed off certain players playing bad so they can talk about it after.

Still not performing at the level required.....had two very good chances today and was poor on both occasions and at the highest level that isn't good enough. His time to impress is running out (though with Kuns injury record he could well get more). However Kelechi is going to be ahead of him (rightfully so) soon if he doesn't start to take his chances. His sole attribute of being able to hold the ball up well is not enough and he needs to add a lot more.......

Nothing. There's nothing he's done in a blue shirt to really suggest he'll be a brilliant big man for us. I hope to be proven wrong though.

No one is on his back, I'm merely expressing my opinion (on a forum out of all places, who'd have thought?). I hope more than most that he becomes a massive hit and I'll support every player in light blue, but I can't ignore that his performances haven't been up to the required level and it's hurting us.

If you say he's done nothing to show you he can be a hit with City then you're clearly not watching us play. His passing and hold up play at times is brilliant along with his first touch. The only thing that's letting him down is his finishing and when he finds it I hope a lot on here will give the poor lad the credit he deserves.

Apologies if this point has already been made but as a stab in the dark MP will not have the funds to bring in a forward good enough to be back up to Kun (or would frankly be happy to play second fiddle in our current formation of one up top) in January. He needs therefore to keep Bony focused and confident for the rest of the season as much as he can. Bony lacks confidence and his finishing is indicative of that and fan unrest as it slowly dawns on even the most optimistic of us that he isn't good enough for MCFC circa 2015/16. I hope he'll be gone by the summer but right now we need to get behind him...However hard that increasingly is.

That's all I'm ever hearing though, great hold-up play. You can't ignore his bad decision-making, bad movement, mobility, and somewhat selfishness that comes along with his poor shooting that will cost us in tight games. His best play is facing away from the opposing goal and I don't think any blues would be confident if a big chance fell his way. He hasn't shown that goal-scoring instincts that others like Dzeko have shown and it's worrying.

He was poor today and he will know it..

Not sure what is up with him as we know he is a good player, he has scored goals recently so confidence shouldnt be an issue..

I do think he needs to loose weight, looks musclebound to me and doesnt look very mobile..
