I still think he's settling into our style and how intense we play, remember it's a big jump from Swansea. Added to that, he hardly gets a run in the side due to our preffered formation and the Fact that he has Agüero to compete with for that lone striker role doesnt help.

Give him time and some games, without sounding like Dzeko bashing, Bony holds the ball up and introduces others into play much better than he ever did.

Considering his injuries, I think he has been excellent so far.

He showed with his goal at Swansea what a unappreciated technician he is.

He has won every ball played into him, and with the players we now have running through on to the ball, he is the perfect foil.

He provided an excellent assist for Yaya at West Brom and his back heel into Silva at the end of last season suggests his awareness is top notch.

We're not gonna do any better in terms of a back-up striker to Aguero in the formation we play now, and one who is happy to be part of a big club playing big games.

He's rusty in front of goal for good reason, but games like tonight are what players with a point to prove thrive upon.

A top player who can become an even better one in the next couple years.

We should be grateful to have him. Arguably, only Aguero, Costa, Benteke, Lukaku, Kane, Sanchez and Giroud are better than him, and he is only a back-up.

if you watch the palace highlighs again, he holds the ball up really well, should of returned the ball to de bruyne in the first half, but he did a good turn and shot,2nd half he held and returned to ferna that is his strength, he will obviously be judged on goals scored , be he will give the team a lot more than that.

He's doing just fine. It's been a bit stop, start (injury wise) so far with him but he's already shown plenty of glimpses as to what he can offer.
He holds the ball up so much better than Dzeko did and we don't have half as many moves break down because of that. He's strong as an Ox and when on the ball he's quick to give it to the players who can create, rather than trying to do too much himself. He's a much better fit than both Dzeko and Jovetic.
The goals will come.

Would echo all those sentiments. Top player who will prove to be an invaluable asset over the course of the season. Big game for him tonight and I fully expect him to excel.
