Player Topic: Wilfried Bony (2015/16)

Good striker against weak oppositions. Not one you put money on to win big games. Does silky dribbles and holdup play but apart from th e Bournemouth game, he hardly pass to the right positions. Equally frustrating when just feeling that he turned a new page in the last home game, he reverted back to type. It certainly is telling of things to come so based on this we need to buy in January. There are other forwards that fit better in our system but the question is will they move.
 
Wtf. Why is this thread so popular. Blues seem keener to slag off players than praise them. Bony had no service and was isolated. OK performance first half invisible performance second. End of story.

How I hate when people lie to get some point . Dzeko was injured for over a month and last night he play whole game in Roma victory over Fiorentina. That Dzeko or Negredo or Ballo would make some problems for rags yesterday. Bony is shit , and we need to replace him in winter
 
Shameful singling out of a player who has been shit out of luck since he arrived.

African Nations, two injuries, malaria and also lost a very close relative in last few weeks.

He's an excellent back-up striker who cost what he did because he walks into any other team in the league.

He's lacking games and sharpness and needs our backing.

United couldn't get the ball off him in that first half and the reason he was forced to come deep is because our playmakers are currently out injured or yesterday's midfield were even further back because of the shape we played.

Bony has everything and is far superior to Dzeko.

He won't piss and whinge, he'll get his head down and work hard to be a success here.

He's the understudy to the best striker in the world, and will prove an astute signing.

I hope that's true, he certainly should be given more time.

Unfortunately it sometimes doesn't work out for a good player at a particular club, especially strikers. They never get over the bad luck that hampers their start at the club. Never really re-gain their confidence at that club. It becomes a vicious circle, not enough games, trying too hard when they are picked, snatching at shots etc.

O yea ok we will see how many trophy s Bony will get us , how many heavy goals and how he will replace Aguero .FFS mate I would take insane and drunk Ballo over that pedestrian
