I think we'd lose a lot of control with Yaya playing that far forward. Everything goes through him in midfield,
he's our playmaker in the centre of the park and no one else in the team can do his job. That said, I do agree that he is a liability in a two-man midfield. If anything, I'd play him at the centre of a three in a 4-3-1-2 with Fernandinho and Milner either side of him and Silva behind the forwards. Or possibly a 4-1-3-1-1 with Fernando in front of the defence and just Aguero up front.
