Re: Yaya?

As usual, he had more touches of the ball than any other player on the park and completed the most passes. His pass completion was the best of any player and he made the perhaps the pass of the game to Clichy in the move that led to the City goal.

Re: Yaya?

He is carrying an injury..

Been watching back the game tonight and he didnt look comfortable at all during the warm up..

Yaya gets a lot of stick on here but he does play a lot of games..

Don't let facts get in the way of the Yaya witch hunt.

He got MOTM. Links up play very well, everyone just passes to him and he keeps our play ticking.

Who from?
His attacking was good. His defending was rank.
Push him up the pitch away from defending and we will have a good season. Him him in a defensive role and we will have a new manager in the summer.

The presenter asked Vinny to give it to him in the post match interview in the tunnel. I am guessing its the Barclays man of the match.

Re: Yaya?

Thought he had his best game yet this season today.
Hopefully he is running into some form.

Re: Yaya?

he was good today AFTER United went down to 10 players ..... He struggles in a two man midfield and puts a pot of pressure/responsibility on his partner as he's not the best defensively .. before Smalling got sent off United were doing well .... I was hoping we'd start with both the Ferns today with Yaya just in front of them .... No doubt in possession and attacking-wise Yaya is none of the best around but when we don't have the ball lets be honest he's not the best ...

Re: Yaya?

judging by a lot of comments of people on here,
if we had messi we'd piss and moan about the amount of
time he spends walking around doing nothing.
yaya is the heartbeat of this team.
kompany, zaba and Silva have all played shit in games this
season but never get as much abuse.

Re: Yaya?

team selection did not help him today but he grew into the game anyhow and certainly played his part in the win

always love to see him bombing forward and there was some nice distribution from the back today as well
