CONGRATS YAYA!!

Soon to beat Weah and Eto'o for the most CAF awards!

He's joint top with Eto'o now with 4 each. Eto'o has a couple of 2nd and 3rd places tho (if you count those as awards)

City are joint top with Marseille too, tho same deal with 2nd and 3rd places
Club quick to acknowledge the award, on the City site already.

Lets hope they've sent him a massive cake :)

Re: Yaya?

4 years in a row and I can see him challenging for it again this season as well.

With Bony coming, City have an opportunity to really dominate the African player of the year award which will be great for the City brand in Africa.

Re: Yaya?

According to BBC website preview of tomorrows game City haven't won an away league game without him for two years.
Cant be bothered looking through records to see how many away league games we have actually played without him in that time but hopefully we put that right at Goodison this weekend.

Last time he was at ACON we beat Arsenal 2-0 at their place. That was exactly 2 years ago.

It's bit like saying we've only won twice away in the Premier league without Hart.

It's a fucking shame he is missing some big games.

I read we've only won the league twice with him in the side, not good enough!
