I think we should be professional and show our unrelenting support for him against Chelsea. One last game, and if he does do fuck all then well hammer him next time. But we need him at his best and lets show our support.

To me, if i lost my brother i would be unconsolable and would start to ponder my life as well, so his situation is very understandable. Give him a break.
Rags still reeling from Yaya Toure

Re: Yaya?

Sulk like fuck, play like the invisible man, rub the fans up the wrong way and then appear on TV claiming it was all one big joke?

Sorry Yaya. I might not boo you tomorrow but it'll take a lot for me to clap you. No respect for someone who treats me like a fool.

Re: Yaya?

If it was just a joke why wait so long before commenting on it, great footballer but a prick.

Re: Yaya?

I love how the knobheads on here can't get over the fact that the "birthday cake" issue was nothing more than a joke by Yaya and his agent.

Those same knobheads will have to a eat a lot of humble pie at the end of the season, when Yaya shows once again why he's such a legend for the club, when we lift the title for the third time in four seasons.

Having said that, I personally I think this season will be his last season for us anyway. he will probably be sold when we've passed the FFP regulations and the club can afford to bring in a replacement during the summer.

Yaya is a legend!!

Suarez won player of the year last season, the best footballer in the league last year? Yaya Toure by a mile. Most influential player for City over the past few seasons? Yaya Toure. One of the greatest players ever to wear a City shirt, Yaya Toure. The player the fans sing about most? Yaya Toure. Made a dick of himself in the summer, brother died, poor start to the season, Yaya Toure. Were four games in blues, FFS, get a grip!

Yaya at the moment is getting off very very very lightly compared to Garcia and Dzeko in the last two seasons on here.

Do you not think that's because of his achievements at this club? Without doubt he has to be a City all time great because of what he has done in the 4 years he has been here and a few bad games at that start of the season is not going to change that. I've got a feeling come Sunday night we will all have a different opinion of him

Yep, I think that is the reason and rightly so.

Best thing Yaya can do is get rid of that ridiculous agent who shot his mouth off in the Summer and led to him being ridiculed. At the very least he should instruct his agent to keep his mouth shut, and let him do his talking on the pitch. He will in time.

Nothing more than a joke. I'm actually finding it difficult to respond to such utter bollocks.
