I'll ask again, name one single thing he contributed in tonight's game?

At least when he was this bad against Arsenal and Swansea, we got 10 minutes of brilliance.

Ok you're clearly an ignorant idiot but i'll humour you, despite admitting he was shit tonight and the point is based on more than tonight's performance.

He passed the ball to our attacking midfielders, sometimes.

There's your answer.

Not tonight, but it is every fucking game we lose, and even some we win. We have a large section of posters on here who slate him, but other players get away scot free. Someone alluded to it in a post before the match.
the rinse and repeat crowd. Always waiting for the first mistake to start whinning about.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever read anything so deluded on this forum in fuck knows how many years. Wow.
That's just bizarre mate. At least explain the deluded points? Explain where I'm wrong. I've agreed with the majority that he gets caught with the ball and I've said numerous times he offers little when we lose it, but his midfield partners are lacking in quality, especially with the ball.

The disrespect that Yaya, one of the greatest players to have ever played for City, is receiving off some Bluemooners astounds and saddens me.

Yes, we all know that he is not the player he was and we need a replacement but until we get one (Delph, Fernando and Fernandinho not in the same class) he plays and should be supported loyally.

Always been a big fan but that was his worst performance in a city shirt, carrying a passenger is bad but doing it in central midfield is a disaster, I don't get why the least fittest of our players at that size and age catching up plays more minutes than anyone else, why is rotation important nowadays except in his case

There must be something in his contract or a gentlemans agreement, even his passing was poor tonight, any other player in any other team would have been subbed

Yaya gets cut far too much slack by some purely because he is the solution to the problem that he often created himself.

He gets us out of the odd hole, but if it wasn't for his half arsed performance and total lack of leadership skills in midfield then we probably wouldn't be in the hole in the first place.

At the end of the day, your main experienced midfield man is supposed to lead by example. Unfortunately, when everyone sees his half hearted efforts they tend to follow suit.

We need to bring in someone with balls. He doesn't even need to play that often, just someone who can come in and ruffle a few feathers in the dressing room, because this team will get nowhere with the attitude that it has.

You wouldn't have subbed him tonight?

That is the big issue. I stated it weeks ago. Yaya is the only one who links the defence to midfield to attack. When he is pushed forward we end up playing too direct as highlighted by the spurs/united game.

But some how Fernandinho and other players get a free pass, who contribute nothing offensively besides collecting the ball playing it square and exacerbating the slow, pedestrian football we have seen for months away from home
don't talk sense mate, Fatbloke will be on your case calling you deluded.
