Can't wait for Guardiola to come in now and fuck this guy off along with his joker of an agent!

Yaya's agent knows how to work Yaya because he knows his head is up his own arse! I still can't get over him kicking off for not winning African player of the year, that's the problem with Yaya, he'd be happy if we won fuck all for the next 3 years just as long as he gets recognition and personal awards, he wants to be recognised for being the best in the world when quite frankly he's been anything but the top 20 players in the world for the last 2 years.

The guy is poison, has 0% work-rate and everything is about him.... I'd sell him now get done with it and empty some space for a new player and save ££££ on the wage bill.

Resemblances of Balotelli, more talent than brain.

Although to be fair, Yaya was immense and had a great work rate in his early years with us. The work rate dropped in direct correlation to the progressing years and indirectly to his ever-expanding ego.

He's scored some of the most important goals in our history

Yes..sometimes he's detrimental..sometimes it looks like he can't be arsed..but he has popped up when needed countless times

He has been well worth the odd outburst in the long run

I for one will be thankful for his contribution when he eventually leaves

I can't lie and say that he hasn't scored some important goals for us but I'm sure you look down the line that some of our ex players in their own right scored some important goals for the club but in their own way I personally wouldn't name any of them if I'm talking about the good at the club. For example Tevez, scored goals and grafted like fuck but he will always be remembered to me as the player who abandoned his job for 4 months and it angers me how players get away with it, yeah he was fined 7 weeks wages but what's that when you're loaded anyway?

Yaya will be in the list with Tevez as players who were class but took the club for a ride in the process. I wouldn't even mention Yaya in the same sentence as Goater when talking about work ethic and loyalty and for a player of his quality we should be able to look back on him as one of the greats but again like Tevez he's ruined that for me.

I agree with the likeness to balotelli. Nobody is doubting the talent. It's the attitude that's the problem. Someone in the french /German /Spanish league will get a good couple of years out of him.

I honestly don't know what happened but it's completely absurd the things he's even coming out with the last 2 years.

In 20 years time when reminiscing on city's climb back to the top I want to talk about past players in a good light, so when we mention Yaya I want to say "I remember that awesome goal in the league cup final vs Sunderland" where in truth I'll be saying "I remember him, remember the time he and Nasri said that he'd be recognised more if he wasn't African, or when he felt unappreciated by the club because we forgot to get him a birthday cake?"

The criticism Yaya gets on here is absurd. I have been critical recently. But no way I'd compare Yaya with Balotelli nor Tevez for that matter. Yes his agent is whatever is wrong about agents in general. And yes, Yaya should've zipped it when talking about Africans' POTY. Even though he is spot on.
If Yaya leaves this summer (many were sure he would walk last summer) I will remember him as one of our most important players post Sheik Mansour area. And this is an opinion formed without statistics...

What sticks in my graw is that when his agent said city would not let him have time off to see his dying brother and yaya said his agent speaks for him so endorsing those amongst other comments

Not sure I understand how his comments were spot on?
