i cannot agree more... the midfield control he has and the little combinations he puts together with Fernandhino and Silva are sorely missing... and we can see how KDB is missing him as well... and especially the way he shows for the defense and links the attack... it's a shame his critics choose not to see that...
 
Well this is the problem, he's one of the key players in our team, but has these flaws that make him a borderline liability these days. There's not one person that would argue about the quality that he has and the contribution that he's made to our success, however it's our reliance on him to provide the positive things that he does that is our weakness.
 
I dread to think what it would have been like with Yaya out there today.

We didnt miss him today, trust me.
 
Fernando thread being locked tells me everything I need to know about that useless twat.

Thank god Toure didn't play. It would no doubt have been his fault again.
 
I can just imagine if yaya was out there today, he'd have been staggering round like he'd just run a marathon with a fridge on his back. The exact opposite of what was needed today. Not that the other fuckers did any better.

i have to disagree! City were desperately shit at retaining the ball in midfield today, about the worst ive seen us passing it around the pitch, Ya Ya would have calmed it, slowed it, and made sure City had more say over the pace.

sometimes slow and calm is as effective as bluster and drive.

Anyway, he couldnt have been worse than fernando
 
NOBODY takes responsibility for possession when Yaya doesn't play.

As much as he's losing what he had in athleticism and speed and fitness, he's still one of the best passers of the ball in the World.
