Can join Bony on the bench. Good additions in the 70th minute :)
I imagine he would sulk and get a "difficult to diagnose injury", (like a groin injury?), if that happened regularly.

He has a huge ego and IMO would rather be considered injured than on the bench.

Can't wait for Guardiola to come in now and fuck this guy off along with his joker of an agent!

Yaya's agent knows how to work Yaya because he knows his head is up his own arse! I still can't get over him kicking off for not winning African player of the year, that's the problem with Yaya, he'd be happy if we won fuck all for the next 3 years just as long as he gets recognition and personal awards, he wants to be recognised for being the best in the world when quite frankly he's been anything but the top 20 players in the world for the last 2 years.

The guy is poison, has 0% work-rate and everything is about him.... I'd sell him now get done with it and empty some space for a new player and save ££££ on the wage bill.

Wow

Of course he is. If the agent repeatedly makes incendiary comments regarding the clients employers, then you have to assume he is acting on behalf of the player, otherwise the player would have a new agent. Yaya cannot be defended in this instance. Whatever his game is, it is backfiring. He has been made to look foolish by this guy, time and time again. This time, unfortunately for himself he has made a fool of himself with his ACON comments. Ungracious and misinformed. Condemning the entire content of Africa for him not getting POTY. Laughable really. Put a replica ACON POTY candle on top of his next birthday cake.

I think last time regarding the birthday cake incident Yaya even stuck up for his agents comments and called him his friend? Now I'm not the worlds smartest person but if I were a footballer and my agent made a bogus rumour about me feeling unappreciated because I didn't get a birthday cake I would have sacked that agent for running my name and my employers name through the mud, not call him my friend and defend him.

He'd create havoc if he had to sit on the bench. No way he'd sit there willing to do a job in the last 20 minutes. He'd do as much as possible through his agent to get a move or destabilize Pellegrini's position.

Best to get what we can out of him until the end of the season and then move on. He has been excellent for us while he was here. He is becoming more of a liability on his none going days. Everton in the Carling Cup was absolutely unforgivable for a professional footballer.
Unfortunately this is true. He'd be a great asset off the bench, or playing just 60 minutes at full throttle before being replaced - sadly there's no chance of him accepting this role; pretty sure he threw a strop when being removed in the 89th minute not long back.

He's not a twice a week 90 minute man, but he's also not the type to accept this.

Yaya failing to shut his agent up after the last time just confirms he has no problem with the comments he makes. To me the comments come from a man who knows Yaya is going to get moved on as soon as Pep gets here and wants to get a cheap dig in before it happens.

Everyone is to blame but Yaya.

It's been because of him that we've not been able to progress our midfield forward, everything has to be built around him, he could play shit for 10 solid weeks and not get dropped once! Hell even Joe Hart was benched for a few weeks and he's our fucking goal keeper!

In the 5 and a half years Yaya's been with us I reckon I could count the amount of times he's been subbed off, on one hand and that is including the games he's been diabolical in, like that CL game against Bayern!

He's scored some of the most important goals in our history

Yes..sometimes he's detrimental..sometimes it looks like he can't be arsed..but he has popped up when needed countless times

He has been well worth the odd outburst in the long run

I for one will be thankful for his contribution when he eventually leaves

Not saying sit him on the bench every game he can play most home games and easy away games!

There is no defending the things that he (at least tacitly) consents to his agent saying, however the over-reaction to his affect upon the team whilst on the pitch is silly.

Its almost become a lazy analysis of Toure to say he is lazy... he is hardly the only one not tracking back and pressing- I largely suspect this is a tactical move to catch teams on the break set by Pellegrini.
