Toxic. Playing the rags at Wembley is bad enough. I'm considering giving this one a swerve if things go to plan tomorrow.I'm starting to think that game might get quite nasty, on the pitch and off it.

Just to be clear
I’m old enough to remember Emlyn Hughes having to apologise for singing:
Liverpool are Magic
Everton are Tragic
I can also recall Everton’s less-than-sympathetic response when he died.
Meanwhile, Liverpool complained of police brutality in Kiev last season, and after travelling to the Ukraine in 2011, I can see their point.
It’s just a shame that they weren’t so concerned about crowd safety, when destroying the City coach the previous month.
That’s the point of the sarcastic song: Nowt to do with Hillsborough or Sean Cox.
Personally, I’m not a great fan of singing about Liverpool when we’re playing another team.
However, I’ll be singing it tomorrow.

I think the CL final is almost more important. If Liverpool win, they'll be unbearable but happy. If they lose, and we were winning at Wembley, our lot singing that song constantly, late kick off so everyone is juiced up and you can just see it.Toxic. Playing the rags at Wembley is bad enough. Because their media hadn't spent a week ramming how offensive it was down their throats, telling them how disgusting it is, how City won't apologise, and how Sean Cox's brother gets upset about it.
It was also before we "stole" their league title.
