I had a soft spot for Vassell because of his work rate and electric pace.

His finishing was poor (to put it mildly) but he was one of the players I took to in a distinctly mediocre era.

His partnership with cole worked well, wasnt quite the same without him.

I have never booed a City player, all it does is make a player low in confidence play worse. David White got loads as I recall, Whitey was my favourite player, seeing him mention how it affected him in the recent documentary made me angry and upset. Why do it?

There's a theme for me with the likes of Big Joe, Edge, Raheem, Paul P - all with something in common. Decent fella's who gave their best for City and would never hide even when they were playing crap.
