City fans abused Kenny Clements - a good and loyal player. To a lesser extent, fans got on the backs of Steve Redmond and towards the end of his time at CITY and Andy Hinchcliffe.Every club, every generation has their scapegoat players and we could get all psychological and analytical about it ('Straw Man/Aunt Sally') to try to understand the need in some to target certain players.
For me, the response is simple - never boo a Blue. And that's 'never' as in 'EVER'..
Get behind your team and don't give in to the opposition until the game is done; nor give up on the lads on the field while it's being played.
Know nothings near me in the North Stand used to abuse Yaya week-in, week out.Kernaghan got a snowball in his face from the city end away at villa, I remember
Nick Fenton played a few games early 98/9 seasonDidn't we have a little guy called fenton at the time?
Nick Fenton was a young CB who had a run in the team early in 98/9 along with midfielder Gary Mason. Morrison signed and after York we went a great run which led to Gillingham at Wembley. Fenton and Mason had both faded from 1st team scene by this point.Didn't we have a little guy called fenton at the time?

Twin brother Anthony who didnt make first time IIRC. Nick had a lengthy league football career after leaving us but not sure about Anthony.@Kippax77 Pretty sure I remember his debut V Burnley 2-2???. He had a decent game but made a mistake, suicidal back pass from memory at the North Stand end which led to the equaliser. Pretty sure he had a brother at the club also.
I loved Bellamy, apart from being a cracking player, he was one of those that had a go at players who weren't at least working hard and pulling their weight, he had that heart and desire every game, you never had to give him a pep talk.To me Bellamy was similiar to Walsh and Cole, in that I hadnt appreciated how good he was until he signed for us. Bellamy always put a shift in.
The fact he was fucking hopeless in that first season was also a bit of a reason.Bravo suffered simply because he replaced Hart
