I don't think we need a LB since Cancelo & Zinchenko are more than good enough, but if we want to sign a LB then Ait-Nouri should be the one.

We really have only 3 fullbacks for both sides. I just read an article in the athletic that says Lucas Digne had a row with Benitez and would be free to go. Wouldn't mind us going for him.

As you pointed out, Cancelo is perfectly good as a left back... dare I say he plays better there than right back?

It's more so that we have 4 fullbacks since Cancelo can play on both sides.
