Anything less than what was offered for Rice should be enough.

Kimmich and Sane together looked good against City, in the way Silva and Sane looked good. Too bad, Sane hasn't developed as a scorer. If the Germans are really getting Kane, Musiala is a better fit, I think, and Tuchel might need two defensive CM's behind the youngster.

All speculations, of course. Kimmich would be nice, though.

I think the Saudia are paying 20m to Inter, the player gets a contract of 100m. Barcelona probably can't do the overall package.

He didnt want to go to Saudi, but because Barca doesnt have money to pay fee and Inter wants him gone,also maybe he doesnt have other options so he will take the money.

Keep banging this drum but really can’t see why we’re not in for SMS from Lazio. Last year of his contract so could probably get him for 40/50mil. About as consistent you can get for goals & assists in midfield for anyone not called De Bruyne. Defensive numbers not too dissimilar to Rodri and fantastic in the air. Tall & strong, would cope easily in PL.

I genuinely don't think we will sign many players this summer, it won't be the shake up we predicted a few weeks ago anyway. I think we might get one more signing, at a push.

I just think our board won't dip into the market unless it's players they are absolutely sure will improve us.

I can't see us getting another midfielder now, I think that's us finished for midfield signings. I just get the feeling there isn't anyone out there right now that Pep, Txiki and co really want. Bellingham was the clear target, we missed out on him, Rice was the next target, we missed out on him.

If there was a midfielder outside of the premier league that the club fancied, we would have surely seen some murmurs by now. Gabri Veiga has been linked, but I only think he comes in if Bernardo leaves as he's a completely different type of player to Rice and Bellingham. That's my feeling.

No suitors around outside of the premier league for Laporte so I think he will stay. Gvardiol won't come I don't think because we won't pay any more than 80m, just my feeling from how we usually operate.

I think unless Laporte and Bernardo leave, this could be our business concluded. I might be wrong, but that's my gut feeling.

We also have a unique opportunity this season with a few on their last or 2nd last year of contract having won the treble. So they have more currency. Of that set of players they will either walk free or only have 1-year left next season, so our money in will be hit. There is still plenty of time left in this window, so we will see.

I doubt very much that City would make the same idiotic mistake, they did the season we bought Grealish. not that Grealish was a mistake no, but that buying only one player was a disaster, it failed to get backups to the ageing players before other clubs could hold us to ransom, it failed to get replacements for failing players, and it failed in bringing in new challenges for those getting comfortable.

I've given up...EASILY a top 10 CM in Europe. I don't give two fucks what league he plays in he's miles better than Rice, Caicedo, Mac Allister, Mount, Maddison. I'd take him over Bruno Fernandes. Kroos and Modric are washed as far as being elite.

Someone name 10 AMs better than SMS...who can defend a needed.
