Players who might improve us

He has said a million times he wanted to go.
But he wanted to leave because he wasn't going to get playing time. Did he deserve playing time and didn't get it? If so, it is still Pep"s fault.

You can't get every decision right. But let's not brush errors under the rug.

He's too much of a maverick for a Pep player sadly.

Perhaps, but there is no way he would have been given the free role he gets at Chelsea in our team. He is a very good player but if Chelsea become a serious team and challenge for the major trophies then teams will set up completely different against them and him.

Who was being left out to give him that time? Foden? Bernardo? De Bruyne? Rodri? Grealish? Alvarez? Then, no doubt, the one left out would want to go due to lack of game time.

Well, he was already here before we got Doku. And Mahrez left the season prior. So there were minutes to be given out. It just seems the club didn't trust he was 'ready enough' to be that guy.
I too didn't think he was. I'm not even sure I am convinced yet that he was. If he kicks on in his 2nd year as he did the first, then that would be prove positive he was ready for a bigger role and was going to be denied that here.

You win some you lose some. It seems we might have lost this one. But let's wait and see.

Palmer failed to nail down a place in Pep's team when Mahrez was still at the club. Did well in the domestic cups but struggled in the League games.

cant believe pep has had no stick about letting palmer go , been at city from 9 years of age, think if silva goes next year , we will need someone like palmer , always liked him, unless he wanted to go, think its peps biggest clanger.
Hard to give a stick who is winning us prems
