Players who might improve us

Delap is better off where he currently is. Younger strikers need regular game time to really help them develop.
Absolutely agree with this and Delap probably needs game time more than most. He has been hot headed since he was a kid and still seems to get wound up. As he gets more experienced he should learn how to channel his agression positively.
I am happy that he seems to be doing well at Ipswich as not so long ago I thought that he might struggle to make it in the top flight.

Those City - Gyokeres rumours are hurting my brain.

I am not against it, he clearly is great striker, but how we could use him tho with Haaland?

Well he just got bad injuries is only reason he's not still with us. Hothead? You need some bollox to play as a kid vrs experienced monster c/bs!

He got sent off multiple times playing for the EDS and got more bookings than goals during his loans at Stoke and Preston. I am delighted that he is doing well at Ipswich but I don't think he was ever going to stay at City - he played 31 league games for Hull last season so I don't think his chances with City were scuppered by injury.
If Ipswich go down he will probably get a big money move to a decent Premier League club.

From the league games we’ve played so far, the following have impressed me:

1. Chelsea: Cole Palmer
2. Ipswich Town: Liam Delap
3. West Ham United: Mohammed Kudus
4. Brentford: Mark Flekken
5. Arsenal: Gabriel Magalhaes
6. Newcastle United: Anthony Gordon
7. Fulham: Andreas Pereira
8. Wolverhampton Wanderers: Nelson Semedo
Maybe that's why we are top of the league, without playing particularly well.....the only one on that list, that isn't a long way from polishing our bench, let alone starting, asked to leave ;)

This thread is comedy Gold.....Kulusevski, who has a handful of 'decent' games a season, is and never will be anywhere close to Bernie!
At that part of my post did i say he was as good as bernie. I said hes the ideal bernardo replacement. Engine great left foot. Young. Someone pep can improve massively.. so keep your condescending comments to yourself

I'd say southamptonblue isnt condescending as such. But, if he thinks what someone is saying is a crock, he'll give it them. ;)

Bernie was way better at Monaco than Kulusevski is now, and no one is going to improve him enough to be as good as Bernie is now...so he's not an ideal replacement in any way shape or form.

I know the Portuguese league doesn’t always translate to PL, but Pedro Goncalves at Sporting has been incredibly consistent for the past 5 years.

Scored more goals from centre mid than Ratface did, and that’s without a single penalty. He often plays LW, RW or attacking mid so he gives us versatility just like Bernie. Plus I’m sure Hugo Viana loves him and it’d piss off Amorim and the rags.

Surprised Wolves never signed him.

Oh, never mind.
