Players who might improve us

Agreed - I suggested Bowen a while back. Versatile forward who scores goals, good pace, works hard, seems to have a good attitude, proven in the PL.

I suspect he’d not be a glamorous enough signing for some on here though.
 
There is nothing wrong with our current wingers. We have Bobb to return and Savio will improve once we get our confidence back. Bowen won't add much to our current set of players and although Baena is a promising player he isn't the finished article either.

Yes there is , they add 0 goals for the team ,even assists are hard to come by.

He's a bit raw, but if he can get in amongst the goals and assists could be a real asset.
 
Think it's about time we started sweeping up some of these talented players from the mid table clubs

Kudus
Somenyo
Eze
Antonee Robinson
Joao Pedro (backup for Haaland)
Tyrick Mitchell

Just a list off the top of my head, but all experienced PL players and could bolster our squad

Obviously you could go further with the likes of Guimaraes, Livramento and probably a good few others, but surely most of those are gettable

We're at 27 points currently and still have 66 points to play for. IMHO we need to get 43 out of 66 to qualify for CL (total 70). And like we had a super hard run of fixtures in nov - dec.. we have a very tough feb - march.

Without at least 4 new signings in January (2 solid midfielders, a CB, and a RB).. I don't see how we get even 43 of 66 points.

The rest can wait till summer but we need at least those 4 to atleast give us a midfield and a defense that can stop leaking goals.

P.S. I know you can only add 2 to CL squad but I think top 4 matters a whole lot more than winning the CL trophy this year.

And the current squad won't magically fix stuff on it's own.. after 1 win in 11.. it's not just one bad game.

We’ll get our pants pulled down negotiating unless they’ve got a release clause or have 1 year left on their contract. Plus most of these won’t have any European experience. Playing 3 times a week is a massive difference.

Olise and Maddison made sense around the 40mil mark, but we’d get rinsed like Grealish, Phillips & Nunes for most of these. Prem teams don’t need to sell.
