I dont see Nico as a DM, albeit he can play it. A middle 3 consisting of 2 of Nico, Rodri and this guy plus Wirtz ahead of them would be ideal. And all 3 to close up shop when we have a lead would be fantastic.

Watching Nico and Gundo in the midfield tonight, we need to target a CM like similar to Gundo or a #8 profile of Vitinha and Reijnders. Someone who just makes the midfield tick and work.

Maybe there's a player like that in Portugal (like Nico) or somewhere Vianna might shop.

I like Andrey Santos a lot. Can play 6 or 8. Added some goals and is a pest in duels and tackling. Will be unpopular but if Chels still has interest in McAtee maybe a swap + cash could work.

I’d leave him at Everton for another season to learn/hone the basics of defending under Moyes; as good as Stones has been, I feel if he’d had a longer period under him early on in his career he’d have been an even more complete defender by mastering the primitive elements of the art that he’s lacked at times.
