Ladies and gentlemen... I give you Sir Stanley of Bowles!! That’s Stan Bowles. Chucked out of main road and went on to play for England (a bit)

Good shout, league champion and European cup winner with Forest, signed from and returned to Norwich fairly quickly.Martin O Neil
I saw Stan Bowled play quite a bit because my cousin's were big QPR fans and I used to go to Loftus Rd when I visited, but I don't think I saw him play for City or if I did it was unmemorable, a lovely player to watch though.Ladies and gentlemen... Micky channons goal celebration was iconic.Tbf, given my age then, it was probably just his goal celebration I liked, a bit like Townshend with his guitar.
He was class.in his hey day ..with Gerry Francis,Mick Leach Rodney Marsh etc in a qpr side that challenged for the old 1st Division title mid 70s.I saw Stan Bowled play quite a bit because my cousin's were big QPR fans and I used to go to Loftus Rd when I visited, but I don't think I saw him play for City or if I did it was unmemorable, a lovely player to watch though.

And at the same time a little wierd.
Last i heard of him was when he was involved in a car crash on the m1 motorway ,just north of leicester,a few years back now.pretty sure he pullled thru, but i think it was a bad one..
