Players without songs/chants

Pre lockdown was coming back from Everton away and there were two tables of blues on thw train singing a song about Kevin to the undertones my perfect cousin, was decent little song.

Went sometging like
My perfect kevin
When he's on the ball it's heaven
Forget the next bit but ended Guardilas golden boy.
Maybe the first verse rather than the chorus?

We've got a player called Kevin
When he's on the ball it's heaven
He's the City fans pride and joy
Guardiola's golden boy

Ah , that was the missing line, that was sang, and they must have been singing it themselves pre Pep as I recall now it went

Our perfect kevin
When he's on the ball it's heaven
He's Man City pride and joy
Pellegrinis golden boy.

Obviouly pellers can be swapped out for Pep

And sung by an entire away stand. Also fact. I've no issue with you disliking it but maybe tell us why you deem it a shocker. Is it because I didn't nick the tune from an already popular song or because I didn't reference united or the scousers directly? Still waiting for your much better effort or are you one of these arm folders who thinks singing is beneath them?
It’s a shit song. Stop being a gimp. Move on.

The actual original song lyrics are.

His name is mahrez, and he plays on the wing.
He cuts inside, and you can't do anything,
He'll win a penalty, that we'll probably fucking miss.
But when he scores one, we're going on the piss.
Du Du Du dudu Du Du Du Du Du Du.

I know because I made it up about a week after he skied the penalty at Anfield all those years ago. Sang it sporadically for years all over the place but decided to properly resurrect it at the start of the year and its slowly caught on with some people altering the lyrics.
I actually prefer that version.

Good old City irony.

It's Phil Foden it's Saturday, Sunday (what!)
He scores again it's Saturday, Sunday (what!)
It's Phil Foden it's Saturday, Sunday (what!)
He scores again it's Saturday, Sunday (what!)…

It’s simple but catchy

Wouldn't it be 3 Ruben's?

Definitely 4 Rubens. I attempted to do this with Gareth Barry back in the day but nobody joined in and I felt like a twat. The problem with it is knowing where to go after the "ah-ah" bit. Back to the same it gets monotonous - continue to the verse and you've got a whole load of words to add.

Just to stick my oar in, I always thought it was shit that Aguero had basically three chants: "Sergio, Sergio", which is nothing and the "this is how it feels" and "you thought you were the champions" songs which are both essentially sticking fingers up at United and not really about him.

Loving the KDB one to My Perfect Cousin. Sad it's never taken off properly.
