Players You Have Met

Lou Macari once came into the dry cleaners where I worked complaining about how someone had shat in his coat pocket.

I also once took a piss next to Tony Book at a service station.

Just seen this.Stuffy git uwe is my hero.

Met loads of players over the years (Paul Lake, Patrick Vieira, Tommy Booth and Trevor Sinclair being exceptionally likeable).

Also, I met Khaldoon at Manchester Airport, last January.

I gushed out a "thanks for EVERRRYthinng!!!".
He shook my hand and promised:
"I'll get you a league this year as well!"
And then he said so long, turned around and headed off down the concourse.

I stood there, staring like an eejit as he walked away...

"Call me..." I softly whimpered...

I know know how that blonde kid felt at the end of Shane.

:)

Met Richard Gough in the bungalow bar in Cape Town in feb. He was a top bloke - didn't even mind me going on about how I had him in my panini 86 album....

Met Gerard Wiekens when I got free hospitality v Southampton in the cup at Maine Road. He was injured so had to do the glad handing. First class bloke - the lust in his eyes watching me eat chocolate cake was pretty intense tho. Apparently big Joe wouldn't let any of the players eat stuff like that.

And we think footballers have it easy...
