Point gained or two dropped?

Unfortunately for too many on here (not the majority thankfully) it depends on whether they like Mancini or not.

Like him... point gained
Don't like him... two lost

Spot on, much of what gets posted on here is part of an agenda.

It was like that when Hughes was the maneger, and unfortunately not much have changed.

Same "coward" who has picked up significantly more points per game than Hughes.

Facts won't get in the way of an agenda ;-)

It's easy to take the Spurs result at the Emrates and expect City to do the the same, but Van Persie only played about 20 mins against them and completely changed the game when he came on.

A draw is a very good result.

Yes, and Spurs win was at WHL, not the Emirates - they got stuffed when they played there earlier in the season. I think we've shown we belong in every game against the "Big 4" this season - the big difference has been all the points we've dropped against the lower teams.

Against Liverpool at home that fucking Italian coward failed to go for a win when they were totally there for the taking. Apart from Chelsea we've done fuck all againast the top 8. That's why he won't be here next season.

What an idiot.

How old are you, pal, just out of interest?
My first game was Bert Trautmann's testimonial in 1964. That answer your question? I've been watching for over 45 years and I've seen some shite but cowardice I can never forgive.

Yeah because that win at Chelsea, draws against Arsenal away and Liverpool are shite.

I could take that statement apart with actual facts and stats but whats the point?
Chelsea away was down to the players and the Bridge situation, plus some very dodgy goalkeeping. Liverpool away was under hughes if you'd forgotten and, after a poor start, we finally had a go at them when we went one down and could have won it.

If we do get that fourth spot you will be crying yourself to sleep all summer.

Grow up ffs.

What are you on about? A point at this stage is huge. If we draw against Villa next week and win against Spurs and WH it will be down to goal difference, where we currently have the edge. If we'd have lost today and that same scenario would happen we'd be out of it.
A point is neither one thing nor the other. We still have to win all three remaining games and would have done if we'd lost.

We dont have to win all 3..! whats wrong with everyone..?!

Get off your high horse. Do you know how pompous that sounds?

I just get the strange feeling that even if we'd won 1-0 today with a breakaway goal there would still be some on here saying that it wasn't good enough as goal difference could be crucial.

Arsenal are third in the league and are very strong at their own place. We don't have a divine right to win. If we had gone gung ho people would be saying that we were naive.

I believe that we should not have sacked Hughes and still do (whilst backing Mancini) but the fact remains that if we miss out on top 4 it won't be because of today but the poor results at home versus Hull and Burnley.
