25k tickets, 17k on cup scheme

do you know that for certain or is it a guess m8?

Couple of thousand for club employee's, players, hangers on corporate boxes etc...
5k for kids of cup scheme members
Should be at least 1k tickets for season ticket holders

Thought I was a certainty on 2620 points & on the Cup Scheme until I seen people worrying about not getting one on the scheme with 5000+ points.

I can't see why you wouldn't get one with that level of points and being on the cup scheme?

Did every season card holder get a ticket for the '11 final does anyone know (or could of if they wanted) something like Everton announced in '10 when they played Chelsea, I remember they announcing there was a ticket for every season ticket holder, obviously I would imagine that we have more season card holders than Everton I would imagine?
No, 36000 s/t holders and 25000 tickets!
Tickets will be like rocking horse shit!!

This is a very interesting subject - how is Loyalty defined... season ticket holder, general sale buyer, short term? long term? money spent? fixtures spectated home and/or away? cup competition attendance? the list goes on and on, as previously said, everyone has and will have a different viewpoint.

I think that anyone who has been going for yonks (and I mean yonks as some people are making out) would be able to get a ticket easily. Surely those supporters would have accrued 1000's of loyalty points for there continued loyalty over the years.

For me the loyalty system works. Long serving supporters should already have the points to be eligible for a ticket. If the numbers are correct and we have 17K Cup Schemers and we will get 25K tickets there are still 8000 supporters with what should be a high loyalty level anyway. The Cup Scheme grants fans that have pledged short term loyalty (in the form of buying ALL home (at least) fixtures) the opportunity to get a ticket to the final based on their overall loyalty level and being on the scheme as well. Followed by anyone who, for whatever reason, couldn't join the scheme but has shown loyalty over the years.

So in summary - long term members get the chance to go but don't get first dibs on tickets... but then real fans wouldn't really care where they sat. They would just want to be there....

I don't think so.

So are we under the assumption that all season card holders on the cup scheme regardless of points are safe for a ticket? Surely are if as a lot of people are saying we get 25k tickets with roughly 17k on the cup schemes?

Maybe the allocation will be slightly more than 25k as Wigan are not as good a sell to neutrals and sponsors etc as Man Utd, Arsenal etc.

Dont think you could base ticket sales on how many fa cups games you have attended in the season .what would happen if the reverse of this seasno 1 home rest away ?
We'd have been knocked out, it wouldn't have been an issue

Cup scheme members had first dibs on tickets for the semi but who knows what will happen for the final.

If City use the same criteria for the final as they did for the semi I reckon it would go down the non cup scheme seasoncard members with 4000 points or more
But they may change their mind about how they are going to allocate them

Well it is going to be interesting. Remember the last final big outrage for the Semi that all cup scheme members got a ticket then a different sales policy for the final.

I would not guarantee that everyone on the Cup Scheme will get a ticket.
