Political relations between UK-EU

You've already posted the first one quoting Jeffrey Epstein's mate twice.
Regarding the second one, do you not find it a little strange that our PM is threatening to tear up an agreement he made about 6 weeks ago because he's surprised at how it's going?
Not so much surprised how it’s going, think it’s more of a surprise to him what’s in the agreement, he obviously had no idea what he was signing up to, again. He took it to the last week and signed whatever the eu put in front of him. His answer to the problems it’s causing is straight from the Trump school of play.

Yes, I did post that again in error, my apologies, the post has been amended since you responded to a piece from the Indy.
And in response to your second point, no I don't find it strange at all, as what was that signed up to was abused at the first sign of a self inflicted harm via vaccines within the EU, ie; Von de Leyen, in a fit of pique that was swiftly, and grovellingly retracted.
It looks like we're not going to putting up with these kinds of stunts anymore,
in that whenever they see this country progressing they immediately attempt to undermine it in this fashion. We'll see what the govt do about it shortly.

You mean he's threatening to use article 16.....
This is why we need a better solution. Only 6 weeks in and this is the 3 rd time one side or another has threatened to use an emergency article. Obviously something is very wrong and we need to negotiate something very different to what we now have.

There's two possibilities that aren't mutually exclusive. Boris is an idiot and/or he thinks enough of the electorate are gullible fools who will believe his rubbish.

I come in here every so often as it’s one of the few politics threads that moves often.

I don’t know why I bother I could predict what would be happening every time before I do.

Genuinely think the thread needs binning now but I’ll leave that up to the powers that be.

Other than the EU vaccine debacle, which could have gone in other threads to be fair, it’s ran its course imo.

I’m loving the fact that the U.K. has skilfully manoeuvred itself into the exact position of a winner on Bullseye in about 1987.

Only without the mullet.
