Political relations between UK-EU

I did post last week that the wine shelves at our local Tesco were looking bare. They've now shut down the top shelf and hidden it behind cardboard advertising so that they can redistribute the wine in an attempt to make it look better.

As you say ''Fuck Brexit and all who sailed in her''
Was in majestic wines at the weekend and they're struggling to get wine in. Said initially it was just Spain and France, now other areas, including outside of the EU due to goods being held up in customs. Really fucking glad british fish are happy though.

As I said before, I've kept out of this thread for a variety of reasons and kind of hoped it wasn't really a fuck up and things will be better for the UK long term.

Was watching that Cornish fishermen series on the BBC recently and they show the footage of them when they were told they weren't getting a good deal after-all and my heart sank a little more.

Is this really gonna be a major mess?

Yes, because the man left in charge of overseeing the single greatest change any modern western economy has ever made to its relationships with its closest trading partners is an egotistical incompetent liar who only cares about soundbites and not substance.

Bank of England clamping down on businesses moving to the EU‘, not an obvious sign that things are going well.

I realise you're joking....

But my freedom of movement across Europe has been removed. I can no longer easily retire to Spain, Portugal, France or wherever.

We could have pursued are own plans for vaccination within the EU.
But you can freely move around the United Kingdom.

....unless you want to take more than €10K to Northern Ireland. Amuses me that it's a figure in Euros that's the limit.

But we've taken back control.

its already a major mess with nothing more than added costs for the average person... have you tried buying anything off eBay /abroad recently ?

I can survive on Soda Bread, Guinness and Jameson's...and PROPER Tayto....ill be grand
As a Norn Iron resident, once your supply chains are changed from Great Britain to RoI and the rest of the EU any temporary supply issues will be resolved permanently. Can't say that for the rest of us poor fuckers in GB.
