As previously posted, 1st day of my 2 week holiday, so I got away with being torn to shreds in work by loads of United fans. I can ignore mobile messages and delete them. It‘ll all be forgotten about when I’m back in work in 2 weeks. Off for a cup of tea.

Whatever anyone throws at us we can say, oh really we’ve been here before and seen worse and we came back, we’ll come back again because we are still the best team in the land in all the world.

Teams like Atletico Madrid and Juventus have suffered similar heart-breaking defeats in this competition. They have performed better than City in this competition historically and still don't have much to show for it. It's what makes winning this so special. Haaland and Alvarez will solve our goal-scoring issues. We are not losing that game with Walker and Stones available. Pep will not ever make the same mistake of taking off key players before the match is settled. With a bit of luck and prudent in-game management, we will get there eventually. There is not a lot wrong with the manager or the players.
